How to use Thumbmark Maker

Prepare an existing thumbprint image with an interactive crop, adjustable background removal and PNG or PDF export.

  1. Import a JPG, PNG, WebP or BMP image, or use the camera. Use Crop to drag a selection, resize its edges or enter numeric margins.
  2. Adjust background cleanup, edge softness, lighting and ink strength. Keep original colours or choose an ink colour. Rotate or flip the image and inspect Result, Crop and Original views; edits support undo and redo.
  3. Download a transparent or white-background PNG, or a PDF sized by width in millimetres. The preview is reduced for responsiveness; export uses working-resolution pixels, up to 4096 pixels on the longest edge.

What to check before using the result

This processes an existing print rather than generating a fingerprint or verifying identity. Cleanup can remove faint detail; compare the original and result. Processing stays in the browser and does not save the image to an account.
