Sign PDF
Draw, type or import a signature and place it on your PDF
How to use Sign PDF
Place drawn, typed or imported signatures on multiple PDF pages without converting the document into page images.
- Choose a PDF. Draw your signature, type a name and select a style, or import a PNG, JPG or WebP image with optional white-background removal.
- Add signatures and dates to the page, then drag and resize them. Reuse signatures, duplicate or remove placements, or copy a selected signature to specified pages. Undo and redo are available.
- Review the actual signed PDF with Preview, then download the same file. Original page content, links, forms and bookmarks are retained, including rotated and cropped pages.
What to check before using the result
This adds a visible signature rather than a certificate-based digital signature. Signatures are kept in this tool session only. Imported image cleanup can remove pale ink; turn off white-background removal if needed.
Common questions
Where does Sign PDF process my document?
This tool processes your document in your browser. There is no document upload to the application server for this operation. Download the result to keep your own copy.
Can I use Sign PDF on my phone?
Open Sign PDF in a modern mobile browser and use the same document controls. Large files and image-heavy documents can take longer on a phone; a desktop browser is useful when you need more screen space.
Is a CreatePDF account required?
No CreatePDF account is needed. Core PDF operations do not add a watermark. Download any output you need to retain.
