Edit PDF & Add Text

Edit text and add images, highlights and shapes to PDF pages

How to use Edit PDF & Add Text

Edit a PDF with text, images, highlights, rectangles and lines using an immediately visible toolbar and page thumbnails.

  1. Choose your PDF, then select a page from the thumbnails or page controls.
  2. Use Text to add a text box or Edit text to replace a selectable text fragment. Draw highlights, rectangles and lines, or insert an image. Drag objects to move them and use the corner to resize; undo and redo are available.
  3. Review the actual exported PDF with Preview, then download it or save a copy on this device.

What to check before using the result

Adding objects retains original PDF text, images, links, forms and bookmarks, including rotated and cropped pages. Replacing original text flattens the affected page background; replacement text remains selectable. Scanned or angled text cannot be directly replaced. Text replacement is not a secure redaction tool, and replacement fonts may differ from the original.
