Find email addresses, phone numbers and PAN patterns and review their locations before permanent redaction.
- Choose a PDF to scan automatically, or enter a page range and scan again.
- Review page highlights and individual matches. Filter by category and select or deselect matches.
- Preview the redacted PDF and download it. The preview and download use the same exported file.
What to check before using the result
Pattern matching can miss information or produce false positives. Pages without searchable text need OCR or manual redaction. Redacted PDFs contain page images; selectable text, links, form fields, attachments and original metadata are not retained.

Can I use Auto-Redact PII on my phone?
Open Auto-Redact PII in a modern mobile browser and use the same document controls. Large files and image-heavy documents can take longer on a phone; a desktop browser is useful when you need more screen space.
Is a CreatePDF account required?
No CreatePDF account is needed. Core PDF operations do not add a watermark. Download any output you need to retain.
